Responsibilities

Who YOU Are:
AR Specialist is an expert in all financial class areas. Specialist has working knowledge of all HearingLife systems (AX, DM, WayStar) and is able to assist with projects and assignments outside of AR follow-up area. This position is responsible for all duties under AR Associate role plus assisting with projects, trainings and covering AR cues as needed across all financial classes.
- In-depth knowledge of AR Associate job duties and responsibilities.
- Able to identify trends, present findings and provide possible resolutions on identified issues.
- Assist with working AR cues not covered by AR associates when needed in addition to own assigned cue.
- Assist with training of new employees.
- Assist team members with questions and AR related requests.
- Assist with project within AR Follow Up team and other RCM areas.
- Works AR and billing for non-AX/POS converted clinics.
- Maintains productivity and quality results by following standard operating procedures outlines in the Staff Policy.
- Other duties as assigned and directed by team management.

We are Excited About You if:
- High school diploma, GED; Associate degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a billing and/or collections in medical insurance claim processing environment.
- Minimum 1 year in AR Associate role or 2+ years other RCM Departments roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically excel and word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem Solving and Organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
